The Challenge

DaneMAC is a Multi Agency Center, meaning they are bringing service providers to survivors of gender-based violence instead of survivors having to seek out their area providers.

 

DaneMac came to us to help them better tell their story to survivors, donors, and potential investors. Our task was to build a brand that was friendly, safe, trustworthy, and most importantly, human-centric.

The Solution

Gender-based violence can happen to people of all ages and genders. It was important for us to create a brand that made survivors feel as though DaneMAC can help them. With each illustration, we were intentional with what feeling we were trying to evoke: care, hopefulness, concern, community.

 

The style of character was intentionally soft but bold with an intentional focus on body language and additional elements of nature.
